Biographical Information

Stephanie Kleemann is a lecturer at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.  Ms. Kleemann received her MA (2019) and BA (2017) in Sociology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.  Her academic career centered primarily on diversity and structural inequality.  Research interests include spatial inequality (specifically within urban environments), globalization, and the social constructions of deviance.  Moreover, she is interested in critiques of capitalism- especially how capitalism degrades the environment, and how the commodifying effects of capitalism are inherently dehumanizing.
